Membership

The Rules of the Club state that only persons of full age who support the Conservative Party shall be eligible for membership. The minimum age is 18.

If you are interested in joining the Carlton Club and meet the criteria specified above, then you should contact us.

As a member, you will have access to all of the resources you have seen on this website as well as the use of the business room which has high speed Internet access, state of the art personal computers, printing facilities and fax and post services. All this in the historical surroundings of the club at the heart of London.

Subscription rates

  • Entrance fee£900.00

    The entrance fee is waived for Junior Members, Lady Associate Members and Parliamentary members. It may be spread over three years at £330.00 per year.

  • Ordinary Town Member£1,125.00

    A member over 30 years of age, resident within 100 miles of the Club or who has a political, business or home address in London.

  • Senior Town Member£815.00

    A Member over 65 years of age with 15 years at the club in the same category as an ordinary town member.

  • Ordinary Country Member£880.00

    A Member over 30 years of age, resident over 100 miles from the Club with no political, business or home address in London.

  • Senior Country Member£715.00

    A Member over 65 years of age with 15 years' membership of the Club in the same category as an Ordinary Country Member.

  • Overseas Member£615.00

    A Member permanently resident overseas (Customs & Excise Authorities rule that VAT is payable on overseas subscriptions in view of the fact that Club services are provided in the UK)

  • Ordinary Member Under 35 £800.00

    A member between the ages of 30 and 34

  • Junior Member Under 30£510.00

    A Member between the ages of 25 and 30

  • Junior Member Under 25£385.00

    A Member between the ages of 18 and 25

  • Lady Associate Member£615.00

  • Lady Associate Member Under 35 £400.00

    Lady Members qualifying under Rule IIC and between the ages of 30 and 34
